John pointed this out to me last night, so I looked it up today to confirm. It seems Nissan will indeed return to the Chicago Auto Show this February.
Just days after announcing that the automaker would skip both the Chicago and Detroit auto shows in the upcoming months, now says that it plans to maintain a dealer-supported presence at the Chicago show in February, but it will still bow out of Detroit’s North American International Auto Show in January.
This is good news, as I really wanted to see the new 370Z in person when we all make our yearly trip to the auto show. It sounds like this whole thing is a big money saving scheme (not necessarily a bad thing in this car market), but hopefully they will have a good line-up.
